Dan Môi
The dan môi, which literally translates as “instrument mouth,” is a brass jaw harp that come from Vietnam. Each instrument comes in its own fabric-covered bamboo case, which is attached by string. Rather than being played against the teeth, like most Jews harps are, the dan môi is played against the lips and uses the oral cavity as a resonance chamber.
